This petition is to lower the drinking age to 18. Europe has had success with this policy. This would make it so underage drinkers (who will inevitably drink) not unsafely binge drink to "pre game" before doing anything and not make it so they have to sneak around and end up in dangerous situations just to hide from the law. Underage drinking is happening either way so why not make it so those who choose to drink can do it in a safer and more responsible way.
