Lower The Drinking Age to 18

Created by J.L. on October 21, 2016

Let's cut to the chase, close to all people young people consume alcohol. Today, young people today are able to obtain alcohol easily through the use of fake ids and older people. It has come to appoint where college, filled with essentially 3/4 underage students, are associated more with alcohol and partying than academics. Since young people are going to find ways to circumvent these laws and mostly all other actions made to limit their ability to consume, i propose we lower the drinking age to 18. So, why 18? By the age of 18 young people become legal, adult citizens, and by that logic they should be able to make their own decision on what they feel is right for themselves.
