Lower the drinking age to 18 on base for active duty military personnel.

Created by C.D. on April 08, 2014

I believe that active duty military (under the age of 21) should be able to enjoy an alcoholic beverage on base with some friends while watching a game of football, or to simply unwind at the end of the day. I know it has been discussed before, but I feel it should be revisited. With the push to allow drugs that have been illegal for decades ie. Marijuana, it makes sense that a drug that has been legal forever, with the exception of prohibition, should not be denied to those deemed old enough to die for their country. I am not asking for the drinking age to be changed everywhere, I am petitioning for it to be changed solely on base for active duty military personnel.
