Lower the drinking age to 18. If young men and women can die for their country they should be able to drink responsibly.

Created by S.F. on November 14, 2012

If our young men and women are considered responsible enough to make the ultimate sacrifice for our country, they are responsible enough to safely and wisely enjoy the occasional alcoholic beverage. This dichotomy between American privileges and responsibilities is unfair to our young citizens, and needs to be reformed. Many nations worldwide already trust their young people with this responsibility; the United States government should follow suit.
