Lowering the drinking age will help reduce under-aged drinking. A person can serve and risk life in this country but can not come back and enjoy a celebratory beer with fellow patriotic soldiers. A high drinking age only increases the desire for a minor to illegally possess and consume alcohol. Alcoholic beverages are healthy in moderation and legal adults shouldn't be denied the right to it; when they can purchase a home, pay taxes, smoke cigarettes, and serve for the American Armed Forces.
