Lower the drinking age to 18 for U.S. Military personnel

Created by A.I. on October 21, 2015

This wouldn't be the first time to be discussed but it seems to have made no progress. One could make the case that the human brain is not fully developed until the age of twenty-one but then again I highly doubt tobacco is safe for the brain at eighteen. Someone serving is given the responsibility to go to a foreign country and protect our Constitution yet can't have a drink until the age of twenty one, which they are not guaranteed to even see that day.
