The United States needs to lower the drinking age from age 21 to age 18 for the following reasons, but not limited to the following reasons:
1. Countless funds are spent to catch underage drinkers
2. 18 year olds can marry
3. 18 year olds can divorce
4. 18 year olds can vote
5. 18 year olds can serve in the military
6. 18 year olds can be tried as adults
7. Underage drinking is a problem that could be alleviated by lower the legal age to drink
