To lower the drinking age from 21 to 18.

Created by M.M. on July 24, 2013

18 is the age an individual becomes a legal adult in the eyes of the United States government. As such, having the rights of joining the military, getting married without parent or guardian consent, the right to be charged as an adult, the right to vote, and more, but not having the right to drink is off-putting. As soon as an individual becomes a legal adult, they should have all rights granted to them, not just some or most.
