The use of alcohol is a broad and self absorbing topic. At the age of 18 you are seen as an adult and can even buy tobacco products. Why not alcohol? If we are to be looked at as adults by society at the age of 18, are we not responsible enough to buy and use alcohol for our own consumption. Do you really change from the age of 18-21 so dramatically that you will be responsible with drinking? How is it right that we can be drafted into a war because we are old enough to die for our country but can not use our freedom that this country was founded upon? I love my country and I have said the Pledge of Allegiance in School for years proudly. I am not treated as an adult but looked at as one. Alcohol should be a decision at the age of 18 a person can make responsibly.
