Lower Drinking Age Repel National Minimum Drinking Age Act

Created by C.M. on July 22, 2013

Purpose:
To repel National Minimum Drinking Age Act.

To make beer legal at age 16 and hard liquor at 19 or 18 for both.

Reasons:
You can die for country when your 18 but you can't drink when your 18.

They should have the right to make their own decision whether right or wrong.

Having it at 21 makes drinking alcohol more special, making Americans drinking problem even worse.

Insufficient and too narrow studies done on teen drinking.

Drunk driving in the USA has gone down, did NMDAA make it happen, it is very disputable? Europe has a much lower one and has a low drinking age. Whether Europe driving laws is the cause of that is a possible influence. I personally believe education, parenting and experience made it lower. This is all debatable and can't be proven.
