Lower the drinking federal drinking age to 18

Created by H.S. on February 19, 2013

We petition President Obama to lower the age at which beer, wine and other hard liquor can be bought at to the age of 18 instead of 21. This will bring the USA into line with the rest of the world, bringing in a huge boost in income from clubs, liquor stores and other places that pay taxes on alcohol. This would prevent kids from getting drunk hidden away and would allow them to be watched over and provided safe alcohol from licensed distributers.
