Driving laws vary throughout each state, some may be more permissible than others in the country. Some states in the south including North and South Carolina allow fifteen year olds to obtain a permit and begin driving lessons. You can obtain certain jobs at the age if fifteen, but it will be hard getting there if you have to rely on rides to get to that job.
