lower the income of Congress to minimum wage.

The US is one of the wealthiest nations in the world, with some of its citizens being worth, not just millions, but billions of dollars. Why do some of our citizens suffer from hunger? Our politicians, and other of our wealthiest citizens, are making money off of our government, while those working at minimum wage, and even those a few dollars higher, are struggling to feed their children, let alone themselves. Congress refuses to offer adequate aid to help feed those in need, including children. They say we do not have enough money to help. Well, if that is the case, than these politicians should no longer be paid more money than most will see in their lifetimes. I believe that members of Congress should be paid at minimum wage, and the extra funds reallocated to help feed those in need.
