lower income taxes to 20% or less.

We petition the President of the United States to reduce the income taxes on American citizens to 20% or less. This would force the government to adopt spending measures that would fall within our budget. If they cannot do so on 20% of their citizen's hard earned money, they will be required to reform their strategy. Capital gains shall be counted as income for tax purposes.
Additionally, if funds cannot be acquired through a 20% or lower income tax, congress shall have one fiscal year to make necessary cuts to bring the budget into that frame.
Finally, all inheritance taxes and property taxes shall be made illegal as they are a) unnecessary and b) make it undesirable for citizens to own real estate.
