LOWER INCOME TAXES FOR THOSE WITH NO CHILDREN.

Created by G.S. on July 21, 2016

As tax paying individuals, we should be entitled to lower income taxes if we do not have children. Reason: those with children get tax write-offs, but use all of the public systems 100X more per child than those who don't have children. Why should someone pay more taxes for not having a child, while those with many children get a tax deduction? This is backwards. If the deduction method were changed, it would not only be fair for the single tax payer who cannot have a child for health reasons, but might also help prevent those from having children they cannot afford-- just to receive the benefits of merely having a child for the "write-off". If 1 person uses all of the public items in our country, they should pay less tax than those who use it 4, 5, or 10 times that.
