Lower Insurance rates for home, auto & health care. It is illegal to not have car insurance but to expensive to have it

Created by V.B. on January 20, 2013

The majority of the States have a mandatory auto insurance which in most cases the premium is so expensive the lower income can not afford to have insurance. We should not have to pay insurance rates that cost as much as our house payment. My insurance on my two cars takes up 45% of my income. How is that going to help poverty, I am a working mother that can barely make ends meet and live pay check to pay check like many of us do. So why does the government allow the insurance companies to charge us so much. Most states have stringent laws about having car insurance and if you don't choose to follow these laws by not purchasing car insurance, there can be tough penalties and fines. You can probably for sure count on loosing your drivers license and getting your car impounded.
