The legal age should be lowered to 16, (it is currently 18). Science should be an important part of determining the legal age. If it was, the age would be 16. Statistically speaking a 16 year old can make informed decision as well as an 18 year old, or other adult can on cold cognitive issues. This meaning issues on medical treatment, voting, or other things that require gathering information and consulting with others. The last time we lowered the age was in 1971, and we've learned a lot since then. Therefore the age of majority should be 16.
Minor's have no little rights as it is, and it's not right that a 16 year old has the same rights as a 6 year old.
