Lower the legal age for consumption of alcoholic beverages to 18.

Created by I.D. on March 09, 2013

The majority of the world has their drinking age as 18; for compatibility reasons, the US should be the same. In addition, men and women are granted the ability to go off to war, consume tobacco products, and do many other things. However, men and women are unable to have a beer until the age of 21. This is not logical. The number of young adults that binge on alcohol when they reach college will go down, as most will have already experienced alcohol for the first time in a much safer environment, while they are still living under the supervision of their parents.
