A petition to lower the legal consumption and purchase age of alcoholic beverages to 18. In the US you can be charged as an adult for a crime, take out a student loan, get a credit card, and fight for the country in war but cannot buy alcohol until age 21. By lowering the legal age this will free up law enforcement from dealing with the majority of MIPs and actually boost sales of alcohol thus providing more tax revenue.
People aged 18-20 still drink alcohol and having the current law does not deter them. Change the law NOW.
