We wish to lower the drinking age in these United States to 18 years of age. If a young adult can vote and buy tobacco/drugs , why can they not consume alcohol. Most countries have a legal drinking age somewhere around 16 or 18. So why do we have such strict sanctions here in the U.S.? This would also lessen the ammount of underage drinking on college campuses.
