Lower the legal drinking age to 18.

If you can serve for your country then you should be able to enjoy a drink here and there. Yes if you are enlisted in the military you are allowed to drink on base but when you're on base you are most likely working and not allowed to drink. Also if you have to register for a draft and maybe one day risk your life to defend this country before the age of 21 you deserve to have a drink. Its time for America to join other countries around the world and lower our drinking age to 18, just like most if not all European countries. Some people may be skeptical about this and say that there would be more drunk driving accidents, but all we have to do is look at the statistics in other countries to see that that wouldn't exactly be the case. A lower drinking age would encourage not drunk driving.
