Lower the legal drinking age to 18 to minimize the death of teens from binge drinking. They can't drink but we can fight

Created by A.C. on November 12, 2012

The drinking age was moved to 21 due to MADD's claim that it will lower deaths caused from drunk driving. We have seen that this has not done anything to combat drinking and driving; if you look at a graph of drinking related automobile fatalities you will see that each big drop is the same year seat belts, airbags, and other things have been invented and installed. When teenagers reach the age of 18 they are considered adults and are allowed to enlist in the military, buy homes, marry, and many other legal rights. But still 18 year olds are not allowed to have a beer? To find out more information and learn why the drinking age should be 18 please visit www.chooseresponsibility.com
