The current United States Code states that "The minimum drinking age on a DoD installation located in a State shall be consistent with the age established by the law of that State as the State minimum drinking age" and that "The minimum drinking age on a DoD installation located outside the United States shall be 18 years of age."
18 year old soldiers stationed in the US have just as much right to drink alcohol as their constituents serving in foreign countries, yet our current laws do not reflect this discrepancy. Show your support for a legal shift in current legislative policy that would allow 18 year old active duty soldiers stationed in the US rights to consume alcohol while on base.
Old enough to die for our country, pay taxes, and vote?…Then old enough to drink.
