Lower the legal drinking age, or allow states to make there own drinking ages.

Created by J.T. on September 29, 2014

The legal drinking age in most all other countries is 18. In Germany, it's 16. In other countries there are not accidents and tragedies caused by alcohol like we do. If someone can legally vote, carry a firearm, and join the army they should be able to buy an alcoholic beverage. I think at 18 young adults should be able to aquire an alcohol permit and once they are arrested or cause problems they should lose their permit. I also think that there should be a NO TOLERANCE on drinking and driving. Really 0.08? You shouldn't be allowed to drive at all. That's where the problem is. It's not with the drinking age. Young adults should be able to possess alcohol and drink it at home.
