Lower the legal voting age.

Created by K.S. on December 02, 2014

In America 26% of the population is under the age of 18 and therefore cannot vote, that is 1/4 of Americans who have no representation in government. One In Four. That is simply outrageous! If children are the future then shouldn't they have a say in the future? Instead of leaving them a future, allow them to create their own future for themselves. Why shouldn't minors vote? If minors are responsible enough to have a job like adults, fallow laws like adults, and pay taxes like adults, then you are darn sure that they should be able to vote like adults. Governments derive their just authority from the consent of the governed, and I do not consent, to the idea of being subjugated any longer! No Taxation Without Representation.
