By the age of 21 years old a person has been able to fight for there country for three years, take place in the countries elections for three years, and pay taxes for three years. How is it that at 18 years old you can do all the these things to benefit your country but cant responsibly enjoy a single alcoholic beverage "legally". Many of the reasons kids get a "forbidden fruit" look at alcohol is because the government themselves make it seem so restricted and safe protected that every one who can't have it wants it. The reason alcohol abuse isn't a problem in others countries is because it's just another drink, as tea is to Americans. If we lower the legall drinking limit we can prepare the next generation to not see alcohol as a "ferbiden fruit".
