To help balance our budget we should lower salaries of the House of Representatives and Senate. Any American loving individual in our government should show more selfless service. The wage could be adjusted according to cost of living expenses vary through out the us. In this time of need we should look outside the box and look at different ways to save every penny we can. A raise could be considered in the future depending on performance. A public yearly review system should be a tool to this reform.
