Abolish The Minimum Age Required To Serve As President of the United States

Created by A.G. on April 22, 2015

Article II, Section 1 of the United States Constitution requires a citizen to be at least 35 years old to serve as President of the United States.

We the people believe this age requirement presents an unnecessary restriction to those wishing to serve as our Head of State. Many of this nation's most influential people: from technology innovators to activists to hip-hop entertainers have made a profound impact on our country, despite being younger than 35.

Mr. President, as we near the 2016 election we implore you to fight for the removal of this restriction. This would allow all qualified candidates, no matter their age, to run for office. We deserve a future president who will go hard in da paint for the American People, please don't let such restrictions stand in the way.
