Lower the minimum drinking from 21 to 18

The legal minimum drinking age should be lowered back to 18. If 18 is considered being an adult and you can fight and die for your country, sign contracts, buy a house, get married, have kids, get a credit card and purchase tobacco then why can they not legally purchase alcohol? Having the drinking age this high has only caused more problems such as under-aged drinking and deaths of teens. It makes no sense on why people of age 18 can do all of those things except drink. The United States has one of the highest drinking ages in the world, most countries legal drinking age is 18. This really should be re-considered to lower the drinking age back to 18. It is not fair that people of age 18 can die for their country and sign contracts but not drink. Please consider lowering this age!
