In the United States today you are trusted with voting for the next president, required to pay taxes, able to live on your own, get married, and basically be self sustaining. Unfortunately, you are not trusted to decide your own diet as an adult. You must be 21 in order to decide what type of liquid refreshment you want to consume. You cannot purchase alcohol at a store or a bar, and keeping the drinking age at 21 also makes it so certain events cannot be attended by an 18 year old adult such as concerts, festivals, and shows. It's time to give all adults the freedom they deserve.
