The drinking age is currently 21, however individuals between 18 and 20 are considered adults in our society. These people can join the military, sign contracts, own land , and buy a rifle or shotgun. They can make all these life changing decision but they can't enjoy a drink. They do make the decision to drink and are incarcerated. It's time to let young adults enjoy the right to enjoy a legal substance when they become adults in our nation. Sign to lower the national drinking age to 18.
