Having a law that requires someone to be 21 to buy/possess/use alcohol is foolish and nonsensical. Not allowing 18 year old military persons the right to enjoy alcohol while simultaneously risking their lives protecting US citizens is down-right rude. If someone votes, puts their life on the line everyday for freedom, and yet still can't enjoy a beer with their parents to celebrate their return home is just plain illogical.
This change would hopefully dramatically decrease the crime/mortality/violence rate of consumers under the age of 21, and perhaps above 21 due to better education about alcohol. This change would take the criminal aspect away from responsible (under 21) consumers who are mature enough to consume alcohol without disturbing the peace of properties or persons.
