We understand that the original number of signatures needed for a response may have been too low, but 100,000 is too much. Please don't let the silly "Death Star" petition prevent legitimate concerns go unheard. Why does *my* voice in our government only count if 99,999 have the same concerns?
Even even the total is lowered to 50,000, that's still a significant number of citizens concerned about an issue that warrants a response from the government.
Please reconsider the number of signatures required for a response.
Thank you.
