To lower the number of signatures required for a petition to 25,000, for review of a final agency action or decision.

Created by S.M. on January 28, 2013

This petition is asking that the signature count needed for a successful We The People Petition be lowered to 25,000, for review of Final Administrative Actions and Records of Decisions. For example an Environmental Impact Statement.
One reason for this request is that these decisions are normally already under the authority of the Administrative/Executive Branch. This makes it easier for the White House to have an influence and help with the request. A second is that a Record of Decision may only effect a small demographic, making it that much more difficult for harmed citizens to gather the new 100,000 signature requirement.
