Lower the pay of all Government Officials to the Nation's Average Income.

Statistics say that our national average income is around $49,000 to $51,000 a year. ( http://usatoday30.usatoday.com/money/economy/story/2012-02-09/income-ris... ) and ( http://www.ssa.gov/oact/cola/AWI.html ). We all know that Government officials are paid a great deal more than this per year. If Government official's salaries were equal to the national average, it would ensure that only those who want to improve our country would sign up, rather than have those who are only in it for the over the top paychecks. It would also make it easier to recognize when Government officials were taking money from lobbiest. No more big money would equal less corruption.
