Lower the PAY GAP between Officer and Enlisted military personnel.

Created by B.J. on December 27, 2012

The 2014 National Defense Authorization Act should include an ENLISTED military pay increase of atleast 1 full percentage point higher than OFFICER pay increase. Currently an E-7 with over 20 years is payed less than an O-3 with only 2 years in service. A retired E-9 of 30 years should not make less than an O-4 of 12 years. Officers absolutley shoud be payed more than Enlisted. At the current rate we are going, the GAP is increasing tremendously each year. Soon, an O-1 will make more in their first year than a SNCO who has been serving for many years. To slow this, provide a lower % raise for Officers over several years.
