Lower the pay rate of all elected officials to no more than the median income for the area in which they serve.

No official should be granted more pay than the median income of the area to which they serve. At no time should they receive more than the sum of Five Thousand dollars for an expense account. The expense account should spell out what is allowed and how often. Further medical insurance is to be limited to the same options available to all citizens with their area of service. Retirement accounts are to be set up in the same manor as any other citizen of the United States of America. No further payments are to be granted following the end of term of office. All future raises to any elected official will require a vote to be placed upon a ballot there by allowing the citizens to decide if a pay raise is in order.
