Lower the pay scale of Government Officials.

Created by A.E. on January 25, 2012

The pay scale of government officials (President, Vice President, U.S. Senators, U.S. Representatives, State Governors, and State Legislators) should be lowered to the average minimum wage for one year.
The President of the United States makes approximately $400,000 a year. The average minimum wage job could bring in approximately $35,000 a year.
Not only would doing this show government officials what they are doing by raising the prices on everything, but with the money that would be being spent on the salary of our government officials could actually be put towards something useful like maybe the debt of our country!
Dose the President really need $400,000 a year when he is living in the White House for free?
