Lower the required amount of signatures to get a response down to 15,000 or increase the time to 60 days.

Created by T.B. on December 01, 2011

We feel the current amount of signatures needed to get a response, which is currently at 25,000 is a bit high and unreasonable for the average american. Many of us have kids to take care of and one or two jobs. We are very busy and don't have time to spend all day just gathering signatures, which one would need to do if they have a chance of reaching 25 thousand in just 30 days. Gathering 15,000 signatures in 30 days is it self a challenge. It would be more reasonable if the goal required to get a response was lowered to 15,000 or the time was raised from 30 days to 60 days. Please consider this request because I am not the only one who has expressed this concern.
