The older work force has spent the largest part of their lives working to support their families and improve the economy of our nation. Laborers should be able to retire with full social security and medical benefits at the age of 55. If they are able to retire earlier they not only can enjoy the fruits of their labor (and begin contributing in different ways) but their jobs will become available to the young adults entering the workforce for the first time so they can begin contributing to their futures and our society.
