lower salaries of congress and senate members to a reasonable amount and put an end to the yearly annuities paid to them

Put an end to the overpaying of congressmen and senators and to put a stop to their passing of laws that do not affect them in the same manner as it does the american people. Stop their annuities after their terms and when they return to the private sector they should not be paid just because the once were a congressman or senator. Do not allow them to pass laws that affect the american people as a whole (i.e. social security) but do not affect them directly as well.
