I understand that our federal congressmen and women have very important jobs, however, they make more than a majority of the Americans they "represent." Their working hours are generally less than most Americans and they are not even required to show up to vote on issues. They get a multitude of benefits and what do we have to show for paying their salaries? A broken country, gridlock in both the congress and the senate and too many people unable to provide for their families.
