Lower the salary for all politicians and government officials paid by the taxpayers

Limit the salary of senators, congressmen and all other governmental officials to the average annual american salary of 40,000 . This would be in effect until the end of the current term. Take the money out of the salaries instead of the military. If you can afford to be in the government then you could live for many years without making a penny. Take the money away from the areas that have money to give not the places starving for money.
