We the people, believe the White House should lower the number of signatures in order to receive a response to AT LEAST 10,000 signatures. We all agree that 25,000 is too high, and very unfair. Even some of the most popular petitions that have been on the site for OVER a month haven't reached 25,000 signatures. This NEW number should also be applied to ALL petitions that have reached it while the threshold was at 25,000. We also believe this website should be advertised and promoted so more Americans know that their voice CAN be heard.
