We believe that the Obama Administration should officially lower the speed of light from approximately 300,000 km/s to the more reasonable 30 m/s.
This would serve to produce relativistic effects at lower speeds, allowing a myriad of new opportunities for science and the public.
Firstly, we would be able to observe and study the effects of general and special relativity in a laboratory environment, allowing us to further our understanding of universe's more mysterious workings.
Furthermore, civilians would be able to control their rate of aging relative to the rest of the world by simply traveling at around 60 mph. If we want to be a true democracy, we cannot deny our compatriots this right.
