Government housing guidelines are almost impossible to live by. As a family, we have found that the housing around our area that is government based, requires you to make nearly no money to live off of. Yet, the amount of money that they are considering that we bring home, is before taxes. I think that they should consider what we bring home after taxes, since it takes out a big chunk of our paycheck!
