Lower student loan debt/interest rates, enabling money borrowers can spend towards ailing sectors of the economy.

Created by E.B. on November 27, 2012

Interest rates should be lowered. Financial institutions of higher education should not be allowed to gouge borrowers. The whole purpose of getting a higher degree and attending college is better ones self, as well as finding a job that will enable them to achieve "The American Dream." With the current state of the economy, as well as tens of thousands of dollars in debt, the average American graduate is already digging their way out of a hole before they can even begin their careers. Lowering rates and/or forgiving student loan debt will do nothing but enable the borrowers money be spent elsewhere, such as ailing sectors of the economy.
