Lower Student Loan Interest Rates

Created by J.B. on February 01, 2014

I am here today on behalf on every secondary school student who has to pull out loans, federal or private, in order to attend a University or trade school. From personal experience, I've encountered interest rates for my student loans as high as 9%... This is unacceptable. Students now fear the debt they will obtain once they graduate, leaving many of them nervous of what might happen if they can't pay them off. I state that there should be a standardize rate, of 3%, especially for students who want to attend school. And through academic excellence and participation in organizations through school get their interest rate lowered.
