“A veteran is someone who, at one point in their life wrote a blank check made payable to “The United States of America,” for an amount up to and including their life.”
I propose to cut federal and state taxes on all Veterans that served 24 months in the military.
After serving 24 months, taxes should be cut by 25 percent.
If, during the course of service, the veteran served in an active combat zone, an additional 25 percent of the tax burden should be lifted.
If the veteran is awarded a disability rating of 75 percent or more, an additional 25 percent of the tax burden should be lifted.
Any veteran that recieves an amputation, partial or complete, or loses the ability to stand or walk should be 100 percent exempt from paying taxes.
