Lower unemployment and fix the environment in one fell swoop.

Created by D.R. on February 06, 2013

Why don't we just pull an FDR and let all the unemployed people get government-made jobs? Seriously, just open thousands of positions for jobs involving environmental care. Pay people to clean up lakes and streets and stuff. Gives people jobs, shuts up the environmentalists, and the benefits of safer air and water towards everyone's health outweighs the amount of money we need to pay the workers. Hell, with all the hippie environmental cleanup projects going on (which undoubtedly have tons of money being poured into them already) we might even SAVE money, due to the fact these projects would be unnecessary.
